Prakash Raj has the other most prominent role and he stands tall as expected. He gets to fight, dance, mouth strong lines and charm with his smile. One wishes though that one or two of the prominent cast members had a little more fleshed out roles.įor fans of the Power Star, this is a treat as it is a Puneeth Rajkumar show all the way. There are ample characters and most of them do have something to do throughout. While this works fine, there could have been a tad more attention paid to the seasoning of this for it to emerge near perfect.
Yuvarathnaa entertains fans and has an ample dose of action, sentiments, comedy and even a dash of romance. Who is he? What is his mission? What connects Arjun to this movement? In the midst of this scenario lands Arjun, who joins as an engineering student midway through the course. This micro fight is symbolic of the bigger threat looming large over private colleges trying to shadow government and government aided ones. Yuvarathnaa begins with the suicide of a meritorious student who succumbs to the ill will of money hungry businessmen and her principal using this to fight a battle against this. Does this mix work? It does to a major extent. The film has a mix of mass elements with a lot of dialogues that try to preach righteousness. The story, which is set in a college campus, tries to put the spotlight on a lot of pertinent issues, like private institutions trying to make money in the form of education, corruption and even drug abuse. Review: The team of Rajakumaara getting together once again ensured there was a lot of hope on Yuvarathnaa. Arjun takes on many people as soon as he joins college and seems like he's on a mission. The government-aided college is at risk, what with private institutions out to tarnish the image of this college and poach students.
Plot: Arjun joins Rashtrakuta University as an engineering student in seventh semester.
