The company that made the radio was burnt down, which I believe was Willows doing (Wilsons "temptation" was knowledge, he was brought into the world through a machine- Willows "temptation" was burning stuff, she was brought into the world through a fire- every character has their own temptation). Wilson and Willow were both brought in using the radio (You can see how in the cinamatic video of Wilson). At some point, Maxwell decided a good way to bring people into his world (for reasons I am skipping over intentionally to save time, sorry :P) using a "trojan horse" in the form of some very specific radio (). The train crash is a very large subject, though- so I'm afraid I won't speak of it at length :P Wes and Wolfgang aren't directly related to Maxwell- but it was the three of them that were the cause for the mysterious train crash, as that was the first journey into "Interitus" (Ie: the don't starve world). WX78 was a malfunctioning soldier from Maxwells Clockwork army (you can find more info on that on his Wiki page :V). If that were the case, Webber seems the most likely to be Maxwells son- as he is the youngest. If Maxwell ever had a child, it would of had to have been with Charlie- who later becomes the Grue. Wickerbottom is Maxwell/Williams mother- she is the mother mentioned in the brothers letters. His brother mentioned in the letters, is Woodie, his wife: Lucy- and his twins are Abigail and Wendy (This is before Lucy was axefied, and Woodie got his curse- but we'll get back to that later). (seriously, stop reading this and tab out- if you don't like spoilers :P)Ĭonsider this- Maxwell/William is the center of the tree. If you haven't already, I would suggest looking up the "William Carter" puzzles on the wiki. Secondly, when it comes to DS lore- things are mostly speculation, so don't expect everything I say to be 100% right (although, most of things I say you could pick out from the wiki anyway. I'm glad someone agrees with my bloodline idea, although- as your a bit late for the party, there are some tidbits you're missing out on 3įirst, while some characters are directly related- some aren't, or are just distantly related. Please, be nice to each other, and post your constructive critisism. I will leave Woodie, Wes, Maxwell, Wigfrid, and Webber up to the comments. I think these possibilites are more reasonable than her being Wilson's MOTHER. Other Possibilities: Grandmother, Aunt, Great Aunt. She could be a reason why Wilson is a scientist.
He could be some rouge experiment, or some rusty robot Wilson found. WX-78 is not exactly related, but rather, an invention of Wilson's. Wolfgang could or could not be the father of Wendy, as the mother could have blond hair, but eh what the hell? Genetics are confusing. Supported by their hair color being different. But this time, he looks older than most other characters. The attire could mean they had some sort of dress code? I think this is a weaker connection.
This is supported by the similar colored hair and attire. Wilson is our base character, the one who we base the family tree off of. So Wes, Maxwell, Wigfird, Woodie, and Webber are not included in this theory. This will also be covering only the original 6 characters. This is purely my own opinions and have not been influenced by anything other than the source material, Don't Starve and the character appearances. Now, if this has been said and done already, I have never seen any speculation on this topic.
